To round out the last week of Women's History Month we wanted to highlight Rocky Pond's co-owner and Founding Partner of Milestone Events, Michelle Dufenhorst.

Without her, Rocky Pond wouldn't be the collaborative, caring, and elevated workspace it is today!

Her wine hero? None other than our very own winemaker, Elizabeth Keyser!
"I love Liz’s passion for all things wine. Besides being able to craft an amazing wine, she has a special gift of being able to teach that passion of wine. The next hard-working lady we are excited to highlight is Briana!

Briana is a fantastic co-worker that balances delighting our members with being an unstoppable mom of two. Who is her wine hero?

"The truth is there is not just one person that I need to acknowledge but a whole crop. I would like to thank the women of Rocky Pond for encouraging me on my adventures with wine:

🌟Holly for her leadership and knowledge of wine, always challenging me to hone in my senses with the mystery glass she placed in front of me.

🌟Danielle for encouraging me to continue my wine education with WSET and taking the journey with me.

🌟Liz for opening my eyes to the vines themselves and the beauty they hold if cherished correctly. The varieties of soils that can change what vines are best where. The subtle differences between tastings of granite vs. slate, crushed gravel vs. river rock.

🌟All the women of Rocky Pond for always challenging me with fun educational trivia to further my knowledge of wine.

🌟And finally, I would like to thank a special friend of mine who is always so welcoming and kind. Every time we visit, she greets me with a warm hug and a beautiful glass of wine. Sue Fraser is my favorite person to relax and catch up with while enjoying each other's company over a luxurious glass of wine.

Kicking off Women's History Month with a spotlight on one of our incredible leadership team members, Holly!

Meet Holly, our Regional Tasting Room Manager, whose wealth of hospitality expertise and deep knowledge of wine make her an invaluable asset across all our locations.

Holly's wine hero? None other than Bridget Sherren, the F&B Director at California Grill during her time at Disneyworld in 2007. "Despite me being a new & lowly intern, she could see I had a growing passion for wine, and gifted me her copy of 'Sales & Service for the Wine Professional (by Brian Julyan). It was the book that took my curiosity to the next level, and I'll always be grateful that she gave me the confidence to be a strong female role model in the wine world."

Yes, you can be allergic to them BUT that means you are allergic to many other foods🍋.
Sulfites are not the main reason people get headaches, you might just be dehydrated🤕.
If you react to wine, take an allergy test - you may have reactions to other foods out there 👍
