Requirements:

Responsibilities:
· Assist the chef by preparing food items as directed
· Understanding of menu items offered with the ability to deliver accurate descriptions to guests
· Maintains a clean and sanitary working area
· Manage food inventory and replenish food items throughout the day
· Clear tables and sanitized all surface area
· Dishwashing and proactive maintenance of culinary equipment
Scheduling & Hours
· Must be available weekdays & weekends
· Flexibility required with special events & other busy day
Tasting Room Associate
Report: Regional Tasting Room Manager
Location: Woodinville, Washington
Hourly: $16/hr+ base rate (adjusted with experience), tips, and employee discounts on food and wine
Status: Part-time with wine and discounts, as well as paid continued wine education opportunities
Start date: March 2023

Interested in the wine business? We are offering a unique opportunity for the right individual. Hands-on training from seasoned industry professionals on winery, culinary, and tasting room operations. Opportunity for growth and promotion based on an annual review. No experience is required but preferred; we are looking for someone ready to learn, has a passion for wine, and culinary and delivers world-class customer service.

Responsibilities:
· Welcome and greet guests into tasting room
· Educate guests on wine and culinary offerings and take order
· Present wine, culinary specials and private membership options
· Service guest needs, deliver wine and clear tables professionally.
· Delivers menu items to tables with the proper accompaniments, with accurate descriptions & understanding of ingredients
· Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary, sanitizing tables once guests have left
· Prepare dining room for patrons by re-setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies, and keeping glassware polished
· Supports culinary team with dishwashing operations & breakdown of kitchen
· Maintains a clean and sanitary working area, inside & outside of tasting room
Scheduling & Hours
· Must be available weekdays & weekends
· Hours will typically be between 12pm to 8pm
· Flexibility required with special events

Rocky Pond’s Sous Chef will oversee the daily culinary operations in Woodinville and support tasting room personnel and sales initiatives. This includes adequate and cost-effective ordering of the ingredients, preparation of food items, delivery of food items in a timely and personable manner and training of tasting room personnel. The candidate must be detailed oriented, enthusiastic, and passionate about health and sustainable farming. Must be a team player and enjoy interacting with guests to provide an exceptional, high-touch, experience. Required to promote a company culture that encourages integrity, positive results, excellence, an attitude of servitude, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
· Be proficient in estimating food consumption and costs.
· Adhere to presentation techniques and quality standards.
· Ability to offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques at company events.
· Responsibly maintain and repair all kitchen-related equipment.
· Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations.
· Handle food, and train kitchen personnel, in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines.
· Ensure safety regulations, report injuries, and maintain safe conditions and work practices.
Requirements:
· Must have at least 5+ years of experience.
· Possess an extensive understanding of professional kitchen use and workflow.
· Ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of kitchen staff effectively.
· Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
· Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and time management skills.
· Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
· Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
· May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.
